For the seventh year of Esquire’s Ultimate Bachelor Pad, the publication carefully curated a New York penthouse environment for their 2009 Esquire Man. The show space also served as incentive for sponsors to advertise in the magazine and provided a venue for charity events.

Valued at around $20 million, the upscale pad featured state-of-the-art technology, including an $80,000 digitally animated pool table designed by Obscura. The one-of-a kind Obscura Cuelight projection system turned the table into an interactive art display, combining sensor and tracking capabilities. Fluid animations responded to the movements of the pool balls on the table, which simultaneously revealed an Esquire magazine cover image.
